Bam Adebayo scores 83 Points, Passing Kobe Bryant for Second-Most Points in a Game

Tonight on March 10, the Miami Heat played the Washington Wizards when Bam Adebayo dropped 83 points giving him the second most points all time in one game. Bam broke the record at the end of the game, with only 1 minute and 15 seconds to go in the 4th quarter with 2 free throws. These free throws gave him the record for second most points scored in an NBA game, passing Kobe Bryant who scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors 20 years earlier.

Adebayo dominated the Washington Wizards in the paint as well as drawing fouls. The Miami big man shot a total of 43 free throws in tonight’s record-breaking performance but he also shot 22 three pointers. While he only made 7, tonight shows how truly dominant Adebayo can be in this league with his versatility all around on offense.

Bam Adebayo finished the night with a total of 83 points tonight surpassing Kobe Bryant in second-most points all time in one game. Adebayo proved tonight, if not proven already, that even though he is undersized for a big, he can be a superstar big man in years to come and maybe help his Miami Heat produce in the playoffs.
